The Qualicum Beach Museum chronicles the history of Qualicum with a fascinating collection of objects displayed in period settings.  The Museum also features a grand mural by local artists depicting the early days of Qualicum.  The mural covers three walls of the second floor galleries.  In addition the Museum maintains an extensive archive of local historical documents and photographs.

Another feature of the Museum is that it houses one of the finest collections of fossils in Western Canada.  Consisting primarily of fossils found in British Columbia, the collection was assembled and is currently curated by the internationally known fossil collector Graham Beard, in conjunction with the Vancouver Island Paleontology Museum Society.
